Juventus has been offered the chance to sign Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante by the player’s entourage, according to reports.
The Italian champions are said to be contemplating the move for the player with Real Madrid also interested in securing his services, reports Goal.
The French midfielder still has three-years remaining on his contract with the Foxes having only arrived at the club last summer, following a move from Caen.
Juventus’ interest in the star stems from an injury to key midfielder Claudio Marchisio, who is set to miss the start of the next Serie A season.
The Bianconeri had attempted to bring in Barcelona star Javier Mascherano to cover for the Italian, but with Barca adamant the player would remain in Spain, the Turin-based club has turned its attention to Kante instead.
Leicester is allegedly desperate to hold onto their midfield powerhouse, but with Kante believed to have a buy-out clause in the region of £20-million in his contract, the club may have no choice but to accept an offer.
Kante made 40 appearances for the Foxes last term, scoring twice and assisting a further five.
