Leicester City have made a £5.25-million bid for Cracovia Krakow winger Bartosz Kapustka.

The midfielder was one of Poland’s most talked about players during their Euro 2016 campaign after starring in their win over Northern Ireland.

Premier League champions Leicester made an enquiry to his club side Cracovia during the Euros and have now submitted a bid, according to SkySports.

However, the English champions face stiff competition for Kapustka’s signature with clubs in the Premier League, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands showing interest in the Cracovia winger.

The 19-year-old made his senior debut for Poland national team in September 2015 against Gibraltar and has been capped 11 times for his country.

Leicester have already completed the signings of Nampalys Mendy, Ron-Robert Zieler and Ahmed Musa during this summer’s transfer window.
