Leicester City secure their third consecutive win in the Champions League following their 1-0 victory over Copenhagen at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.
The game started off evenly matched in the opening exchanges, with both sides failing to create any real clear-cut chances at goal.
The Foxes drew first blood and got the first opportunity of the match in the 40th minute when Islam Slimani set up Riyad Mahrez, who calmly slotted the ball home from close range to give his side the lead.
Heading into the second half, the Foxes seemed more confident after having scored a goal just before half-time.
The hosts continued to dominate the second half with goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel untroubled between the sticks.
However, in the 65th minute, Mahrez came close to doubling the Foxes’ lead when he cut inside from the left and fired a low shot towards the far corner, but Olsen was on hand to deny the Algerian international his brace.
In the final minutes of the match, Leicester were more composed on the ball and held on to their 1-0 lead until the final whistle to secure their third straight win in the Champions League in Group G.
