Leicester City wing Riyad Mahrez has committed his future to the Premier League champions after signing a new contract that runs until June 2020.
The reigning PFA Players’ Player of the Year signed new deal with the Foxes after playing a starring role in City’s unforgettable Premier League title triumph last season, reports the Leicester City website.
Mahrez, who joined the Foxes from French second-tier side Le Havre in 2014 and during his two-and-a-half-year spell with the club has seen him establish as a first team regular.
He scored 17 goals and contributed 11 assists last season in the most remarkable Premier League title triumph in the club’s history.
The 25-year-old now joins the likes of Wes Morgan, Jamie Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel and Andy King in signing new deals with the Club.
Leicester City will be hoping to redeem themselves when they welcome Arsenal to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 13:30.
