Liverpool star Sadio Mane has scooped the PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month award after his fine Liverpool form in August and September.

Mane beat the likes of Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Watford’s surprise package Etienne Capoue to the title after winning 38,199 votes of the 78,000 votes cast in the poll.

The Senegal star arrived at Anfield in a £35-million summer move from Southampton and has taken to life at the club with aplomb scoring three goals, created 8 chances with one assist to aid the Liverpool cause.

Mane has won just over half of his take-ons (17/29) and fires 71% of shots on target.
