Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata says he is hoping to experience another memorable visit to Wembley when Spain take on England in an international friendly match on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old is back in the Spanish national team after missing out of Spain’s fixture in October during the international break.
Mata says he is delighted to be a part the Red Fury, especially playing at the Stadium where he scored for United during their FA Cup final victory last season.
‘It’s always a special game when you play at Wembley,’ Mata told the Manchester United website.
‘I feel it is such a great venue to play football and this time it’s against England. I know a lot of their players so it will be special for us.
‘I’m always really happy to play for my country and be called up. It’s been a lot of years since I made my debut but I keep the same passion and emotion to play for my country so I am very happy and hopefully I can play.’
Spain will now travel to Wembley Stadium when they take on England in an international friendly match on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been set for 10:00.
