Liverpool midfielder James Milner has admitted that Jurgen Klopp is one of the best managers he has ever work with before.
The 30-year-old netted his fourth goal of the season, which all came from the penalty spot as he helped his side came back to secure a 2-1 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Milner says he is not surprised that the German’s coaching philosophy is beginning to bear fruit at Anfield as Liverpool go inside the top four and are now just two points short of league leaders Manchester City.
‘Every manager is different, they have their strengths and weaknesses,’ Milner told the Liverpool website.
‘But Jurgen is a top manager. Definitely up there with one of the best I’ve worked with.
‘His organisation, his passion. The sessions he does are different to anything else I’ve ever experienced.
The English midfielder has labeled Klopp as a ‘top manager’ and he is hopeful that his side can become a successful team under his guidance.
‘He’s a top manager and hopefully, we can go on and become very successful with him,’ he added.
When the Premier League returns, Liverpool will go head-to-head with Manchester United on October 17.
The match at Anfield kicks off at 21:00.
