Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has provided an update on the availability of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo for their clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Portuguese manager believes Ibrahimovic will be available for selection after suffering an illness which kept him out of their EFL Cup semi-final clash against Hully City on Tuesday.

‘Zlatan is ill so I think no problem, I think he will be fine,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.

However, Mourinho remains unsure on the fitness of Rojo after he limped off the field against the Tigers with a muscular problem.

‘I don’t know [if Rojo will be fit]. Marcos has a muscular problem, not big. I’m not saying he’s not ready to play, I’m saying that I have my doubts,’ He added.

The match at Old Trafford kicks off at 18:00.
