Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho insisted that his side’s having been showing real dedication, despite their Manchester derby being called off due to bad weather.
The players have now returned from China and immediately reported for training at the Aon Training Complex on Tuesday, reports the Manchester United website.
The Portuguese manager says the training session will help compensate for losing the 90 minutes against Manchester City.
Mourinho added that the intensity of their training proves how dedicated they are ahead of the new season.
‘They are a great group of boys and the intensity of the session shows they are very professional in their outlook,’ Mourinho said.
As part of United’s Tour 2016, the Reds will now face Galatasaray in Gothenburg on Saturday before taking on Leicester City in the Community Shield on August 3.
