Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admitted that he has never had a team like the Red Devils in his time as a manager.
They have reached the semi-finals of the EFL Cup after defeating West Ham United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Calling his current squad ‘a beautiful team’, Mourinho however urged them to be more consistent in the final third.
‘I’ve never had a team with so much possession, I’ve never had a team with so much creation, I’ve never had a team who create so many chances,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.
‘But, also, I’ve never had a team with so many draws. I want this beautiful team to win more matches and, for that, they need to score goals like they did today.
‘That’s how we have played [all season]. Every manager has his ideas and also the players can help you – or not help you – to make a certain style of play. This is what we proposed ourselves at Manchester United.’
Manchester United will travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton on Sunday.
Kick-off has been set for 18:00.
