Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho revealed that he will start rotating his 23-man squad for his side’s busy schedule in September.
The Reds have made the perfect start to the new season, lifting the Community Shield at Wembley before beating Bournemouth and Southampton in the Premier League, reports the Manchester United website.
United currently sit behind Manchester City on goal difference at the top of the table and are already awaiting their next clash against Hull City at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
The 53-year-old has heaped praise on his team’s performance and also went on to say that he not only analyse’s his opponents performance but his own team’s as well.
‘Every player is working hard and performing well,’ Mourinho said.
‘But every match is a match and I analyse the opponent and my team.’
Following Saturday’s fixture, an international break means a gap in action until the Manchester derby and Mourinho already has plans to rotate his squad during their busy schedule in September.
‘I try to choose the best players and I know that nothing can change the frustration of the players that are not selected to play. But the reality is they all know they belong to a group of 23. To belong to that group, you must be a really good player, and they all are,’ he added.
‘At this moment, they feel the situation because it’s one match a week but September is around the corner and, in September, everybody is playing.’
Kick-off has been set for 18:30.
