Barcelona star Neymar has opened up about the club’s rotation policy while also revealing that the club’s talisman Lionel Messi is back to full fitness.
The Catalan club will welcome a visit from Deportivo La Coruna to the Camp Nou on Saturday as the side bids to close the gap on the Madrid clubs. Barca have suffered several setbacks already this season, with many blaming coach Luis Enrique’s rotation policy for the club’s issues.
‘You have to accept rotations,’ Neymar told ESPN. ‘The manager always speaks with us and we know there are a lot of games until the end of the season and everyone wants to be at their best at the end of the campaign.
‘We’re all aware of the matter, it’s for our own good, so we have to accept it,’ he added.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Brazilian has revealed that Argentine star Lionel Messi has recovered from injury and will be fit to take part in the Deportivo tie.
‘Leo is okay, his [fitness] is perfect,’ Neymar declared. ‘Whether all three of us [Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez] play against Deportivo depends on the manager.
‘We know we are making history and together we’re stronger. The magic of the trident is the friendship. We are friends on and off the pitch. We help each other,’ he concluded.
Neymar has netted five goals from seven appearances for Barca this season.
