SA duo maintain lead despite mishap in Dakar Rally

The sixth stage of Dakar 2025 saw TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s Henk Lategan and co-driver Brett Cummings remain in the overall lead of the rally, despite relinquishing 3min 1sec to Yazeed Al Rajhi and Timo Gottschalk who are in second place, in their privately entered Toyota Hilux.

Spaun leads by one shot in Honolulu

JJ Spaun shot a 5-under-par 65 to move into the lead after three rounds of the Sony Open on Saturday at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, ahead of second-round co-leader Patrick Fishburn (68), Eric Cole (67) and Germany’s Stephan Jaeger (62) by one stroke.

SA duo remain in lead after ‘tough two days’ in Dakar Rally

The opening week of Dakar 2025 has drawn to a close in the northern city of Hail, following Stage 5 of the gruelling event. For TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the opening week brought mixed results, but with Henk Lategan and co-driver Brett Cummings topping the overall standings, the team has every reason to be pleased.

Real Madrid have booked their place in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday, where they will meet old foes Barcelona in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Madrid defeated Mallorca 3-0 in their semifinal on Thursday to set up a Clasico final showdown.

Furious Liverpool suffer defeat at Tottenham

The International Cricket Council is considering splitting Test cricket nations into two tiers in a radical restructuring that would allow England, India and Australia to play each other more often, according to a report in Australia.
