Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista has called on the squad to rally and ‘keep each other in check’ ahead of Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion on December 26.
The Gunners recently suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium after Pep Guardiola’s side came from a goal down to walk away with all three points
The Brazilian defender urged his side to reflect on their recent run of form before focusing on the upcoming fixtures in the Premier League.
‘We had two away games to gain six points, and we ended up not achieving that,’ Gabriel told the Arsenal website.
‘We lost both games on reversals [losing from a winning position], with basic mistakes.
“This cannot happen. I think each of us needs to reflect and try to keep each other in check. We must know how to demand from each other, and how to respect each other.
The match at the Emirates Stadium kicks off at 17:00.
