Payet '100 per cent staying'

French international and West Ham United star Dimitri Payet has committed his future to the Hammers despite attracting interest from elsewhere.

Payet enjoyed a superb season with the Hammers before producing a glittering Euro 2016 display but remains adamant he will not be leaving the London club, the whom he is contracted until 2021.

‘I’ve heard about all the interest and I’m flattered,’ he told The Sun.

‘But I love West Ham. We had a fantastic season and I can’t wait to play in the Olympic Stadium.’

Payet has allegedly attracted interest from clubs of the pedigree of Real Madrid but admitted he had fallen in love with the Hammers.

‘I’m 100 per cent staying at West Ham, I love the club. I can tell the Hammers fans that.’

The 29-year-old scored nine times and assisted a further 12 in the Premier League last season while his France side finished runners-up in Euro 2016.
