France midfielder Dimitri Payet picked up his second man of the match award after another inspiring performance against Albania.
Payet was the technician during his side’s 2-0 victory over Albania, once again scoring a stoppage-time goal to booked the French national team’s spot in the Last 16 of the Euro 2016.
With Antoine Griezmann opening the scoring in the 90th minute, Payet complete one out of three shot, one coming from inside the box, while two came from outside, according to SASoccermag’s Opta-powered match centre.
The midfielder completed 41 out of 54 attempted passes, while making a total of 86 touches on the ball. Most importantly he grab the goal that secure France’ place in the next round of the tournament.
The stats showed that Payet created six chances with 42.6% of his attack coming from the right, he completed five out of 12 passes, causing Albania plenty of problems from his set-piece deliveries.
In defence the West Ham United midfielder conceded on foul and made one clearance, during his 90 minutes on the field.
