A brace by Pedro Rodriguez inspired Chelsea to a 4-1 victory over League One side Peterborough United in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues a good start and broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Pedro curled his effort into the top corner following a rebound to make it 1-0.
Antonio Conte’s side came close to doubling the lead in the 32nd minute but Pedro hit the woodwork from point-blank range.
However, Chelsea then doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when Ruben Loftus-Cheek setup Batshuayi before he volleyed into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
Willian then grabbed Chelsea’s third in the 52nd minute after he cut in from the left before firing the ball into the far corner.
Chelsea suffered a major blow when they were reduced to 10 men in the second half when John Terry was shown a straight red card.
Peterborough eventually got on the scoresheet in the 70th minute when Tom Nichols put the ball into the back of the net after latching onto a cross from the right.
However, Chelsea grabbed their fourth goal five minutes later when Batshuayi set up Pedro before curling the ball into the far corner to make it 4-1.
