Hull City have announced that they have parted ways with manager Mike Phelan after spending less than three months with the club on a permanent basis.
The 54-year-old confirmed as the caretaker boss of the Tigers following the departure of Steve Bruce in July and took charge of the club until October 13 when he was appointed as manager on a permanent basis.
The Tigers 3-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion on Monday left Hull City in 20th position on the Premier League table with 13 points and have gone without a win in the EPL since November 6.
The club has now confirmed that they have parted ways with the English manager and will announce his successor in the near future.
‘We would like to thank Mike for his efforts both as Assistant Manager and Head Coach over the last two years,’ the club revealed in a statement.
‘The search for a replacement has begun and an announcement will be made in due course.’
