Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly side thrashed Al Hilal 4-0 to secure third spot at the Fifa Club World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
It didn’t take long for the Egyptians to break the deadlock as Yasser Ibrahim rifled in a close-range header with just eight minutes played.
Matters then got worse for the Saudi-Arabian outfit as Matheus Pereira was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge just six minutes after the opener.
The African champions took advantage of their numerical superiority in the 17th minute as Ibrahim got his second with a powerful finish to make it 2-0.
Al Hilal were imploding, being shown a second red card as Mohammed Kanno was sent off in the 30th minute for his challenge on Ibrahim.

The game was all but over at the end of the first half as Ahmed Abdel Kader fired past Mohammed Al Owais to hand the Red Devils their third goal of the afternoon.
Mosimane’s men continued to dominate in the second half as they made it 4-0 just after the hour mark, courtesy of a fine strike from Amro el Sulya.
The Egyptian giants managed to see the rest of the game out with ease and secure the bronze medal at the Fifa Club World Cup for the second year in a row.
