Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says his side showed real team spirit following their 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Spurs striker Vincent Janssen gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot in the 44th minute before the Foxes found an equalising goal in the 48th minute courtesy of Ahmed Musa.
The 65-year-old says his side showed their ability to work as a team and he believes the Foxes showed a glimpse of the form of last season.
‘I am very pleased with our spirit,’ Ranieri told the Leicester City website.
‘So far we showed an individual spirit. Today (Saturday) I saw the old spirit, the team spirit that we had last season.
‘Today we played as a team again. We drew but also if we had lost I would be happy because when I feel the team I am happy.’
Ranieri says he was pleased that his side could translate their good form from training into their encounter against the Lilywhites.
‘You have to show what I saw in training. The answer was fantastic. We started well from the beginning. In the bad moment were all together,’ he added.
‘We tried to win and Spurs tried to win. I think it was a very good match because right until the end the fans didn’t know who could win. This is the magic of the Premier League.’
Leicester City will now turn their attention to the Champions League when they take on Kobenhavn on Wednesday.
The match at Parken Stadion kicks off at 21:45.
