A host of Manchester United players have paid tribute to the impact made by Ryan Giggs after the confirmation of his exit.

The Welsh winger opted against a demotion from his role as assistant manager following the arrival of Jose Mourinho and has ended his stay at Old Trafford after 29 years.

#GiggsLegend started trending on Twitter on Saturday as many of his former teammates wished him well.
