Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo believes a strong team spirit will help his side overcome West Ham United in the EFL Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The Red Devils take on the Hammers for the second time in the space of three days, having already played to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.
Although they will give it their all, the 26-year-old feels it won’t be an easy match.
‘They are a team that don’t give you anything for free, Rojo told the Manchester United website.
‘They battle, they’re a physically strong side and they’re aggressive, and they know how they want to play. I’ve never had an easy game against them.
‘But this competition is a chance for us to win the first silverware of the season, so we will give it our all. It will be a difficult match, but hopefully we’ll go through.’
The match kicks off at 22:00.
