Real Madrid have named their squad for their upcoming Uefa Super Cup clash against Sevilla.
Los Blancos have named 20 players for the tie which is set to take place in Norway on Tuesday, but will be without the likes of influential German midfielder Toni Kroos, Welsh forward Gareth Bale and the injured Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s Portuguese compatriot Pepe has also not been named in the squad as he is only due to return to training on Wednesday following his brief break after Portugal’s Euro 2016 triumph.
Meanwhile, Franch striker Karim Benzema has been named in the squad despite the lingering fitness concerns that ruled the player out of Real’s North American friendlies.
Real Madrid squad:
Goalkeepers: Kiko Casilla, Ruben Yanez and Luca Fernandez.
Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Nacho, Danilo, Marcelo.
Midfielders: James Rodriguez, Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic, Luka Modric, Isco Alarcon, Sergio Asensio, Marcos Llorente.
Forwards: Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Morata, Mariano Mejia.
