Chelsea and Everton are set to go head-to-head to sign defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
The Senegal international is reported to have caught Antonio Conte’s eye with a host of fine performances in Serie A last term, according to The Sun.
Chelsea are understood to have had a £20-million bid rejected by Napoli, but the London club are set to revise their offer for the defender.
Meanwhile, Everton backed by new owner Farad Moshiri, are willing to spend up £37-million on Koulibaly as new boss Ronald Koeman aims to steer the club back into Europe.
The Senegalese international feature in a total of 42 games last season for the Italian club, while creating two assists in the process.
