This is the right club – Mane

Senegalese forward Sadio Mane believes that he made the right choice when he joined  Liverpool on a permanent deal on Tuesday.

The Senegal forward made the switch from Southampton to signed a long-term deal with the Reds at Melwood.

According to the Liverpool website Mane explained why he is relishing his opportunity to move to Merseyside and work with Klopp, reports the .

‘I knew Liverpool were interested in me, I had some [other] opportunities, but I think for me this is the right club, the right coach and the right moment to change,’ Mane said.

‘I am very happy to be a part of Liverpool Football Club.

The 24-year-old insists that he accepted the Germans proposal from the moment Klopp showed interest in him.

‘He [Klopp] said he wanted me to come to play for Liverpool. I didn’t even have to ask myself, I said straight away “yes, I am interested” because I know Liverpool.

‘I am convinced Liverpool are the right club for me with the right coach.’

The forward spent two seasons with Southampton in the Premier League, scoring 25 goals from 75 appearances in all competitions.
