England goalkeeper Joe Hart has completed his move to Serie A side Torino ahead of the close of the transfer window.
Hart found himself out of favour at City following the arrival of new manager Pep Guardiola, who moved quickly to replace Hart with Barcelona shot-stopper Claudio Bravo.
Hart has now confirmed his switch to Torino, where he will spend the duration of the season on loan after seemingly bidding farewell to the City fans in the side’s Champions League play-off tie against Steaua Bucharest last week.
The 29-year-old has allegely been sent packing by Guardiola because of his poor ability to play the ball out from the back, a trademark which is a hallmark of the Spaniard’s possession-based approach.
Hart is currently on England duty where he has been called up new boss Sam Allardyce despite a poor Euro 2016 campaign in which he made a succession of costly erros. To date the star has made 63 appearacnes for his country.
Hart has made 348 appearances for City whilst he could be set for his Torino debut when the side takes on Atalanta on September 11.
The match will be played at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
