Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy received a three-match suspension with immediate effect at an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
The 29-year-old will serve a three-match suspension after he was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on forward Mame Diouf during their 2-2 draw with Stoke City.
Leicester City will be without Vardy when they welcome Everton to the King Power Stadium when the two side’s meet in the Premier League on December 26.
Kick-off has been set for 17:00.
