Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Fabio Capello for his ‘tremendous’ contribution to football.
The 66-year-old will now go head-to-head with his Italian counterpart when they take charge of a game between Arsenal Legends and Milan Glorie at Emirates Stadium.
Wenger has praised Capello;s achievement and insists that he is looking forward to experiencing the feeling of taking on his counterpart.
‘What Capello has achieved in the game is tremendous and it is good to see him back,’ Wenger told the Arsenal website.
‘[I have known him for] 25 to 30 years. He was managing Milan and I was in Monaco, so we met. Italy and France are very close countries, but I’ve known him for a long, long time.
‘You share ideas, you share worries and you share experience and you share the suffering. We are in a job where if you are masochistic you get a lot of pressure so that unites people as well!’
