Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes his side now has a chance to win the Premier League title following their 3-1 comeback victory over Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Potters took the lead in the 29th minute after Charlie Adam converted a penalty before goals from Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil, and Alex Iwobi all but sealed the Gunners victory to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League.
The 67-year-old manager believes his side have become more consistent in their results since their defeat against Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League this season.
‘We want it to be different. I believe since we lost at home to Liverpool, in the Premier League and Champions League we have been absolutely remarkably consistent,’ Wenger told the Arsenal website.
‘That’s very difficult so it shows that the team is ready to focus and to give absolutely everything to win the games. Can we maintain that collective energy? I think we have a chance.’
Arsenal will be hoping to continue their winning ways when they travel to Goodison Park when they play Everton in the Premier League on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 21:45.
