Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of midfielder Xola Mlambo from Bidvest Wits subject to a medical at the club.

The Soweto giants have put an end to rumours linking them with the man known as ‘Ten Ten’ after the club took to their official website to confirm the imminent move.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce that it has reached an agreement with Bidvest Wits for the signing of midfielder Xolani Mlambo. The deal is subject to a medical.

‘Ten Ten’, as the 26-year old is known, will be a valuable addition to the Buccaneers midfield.

“The Mighty Buccaneers are expected to make further announcements as the club looks to bolster the squad as the Absa Premiership season enters its final stretch.

“Transfer deadline is on January 31st, 2018,” the statement read.
