SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler has confirmed that Orlando Pirates have approached them in a bid to secure the services of Dove Wome on a permanent basis.

The former Cape Town City mentor also highlighted that he willl make no changes to the current Matsatsantsa technical team, while revealing that Mandla Masango has returned to Danish outfit Randers following his loan stint with the club.
‘With regards to Dove Wome, negotiations are taking place with Pirates but if nothing comes out of it, he is still a SuperSport United player and he will come back to us,’ Tinkler told The Sowetan

‘Mandla has gone back to his old club in Denmark and we won’t be renewing with him.
‘I am not making any changes besides that I have brought in Zac van Heerden to be the conditioning coach.
‘He is somebody I have worked with in the past during my time at Bidvest Wits, and who I know very well and who understands how I want us to train. I am very happy with Kaitano [Tembo] and Andre [Arendse],’ he addded.
SuperSport face Zambian giants Zesco United in the quarter-finals of the Confederation Cup and Tinkler has called for good preparation ahead of the tie.
‘We are going to Zesco United in Zambia and at least it is not a long trip, but the opposition are strong.
‘We need to study them very carefully to ensure that we go there and put on a good performance. We would like to go to the semi-finals and win it at the end,’ he concluded.
