Bidvest Wits have bolstered their squad with the signings of Edwin Gyimah, Robyn Johannes, Thobani Mncwango and Denis Weidlich from Helsingborg, Cape Town City, Polokwane City and Maritzburg United respectively.

The defending PSL champions find themselves in a bit of a mess following the first round of action in the league where they languish in bottom spot with 11 points amassed from 14 matches played thus far this season.

As a result, the Clever Boys dipped into the transfer market in a bid to salvage their season, resulting in the signings of Mncwango, Johannes and Denis Weidlich on pre-contracts, which will see the trio join the club on July 1st.

Bidvest Wits have confirmed the “precontract” signing of Thobani Mncwango, Robyn Johannes & Denis Weidlich with effect from 1 July 2018. Edwin Gina has also signed with our club with effect from 1 January 2018. Sifiso Myeni has been recalled from his loan with immediate effect.

Gavin Hunt’s side also confirmed the signings of former Orlando Pirates defender Gyimah, while loanee Sifiso Myeni was immediately recalled from his loan spell with SuperSport United.
