Bidvest Wits new signing

Bidvest Wits have further bolstered their squad with the signings of Slavko Damjanovic and Kobamelo Kodisang ahead of the 2017-18 Absa Premiership season.

The reigning league champions have confirmed their third and fourth signings of the transfer window respectively, after earlier in the week publicising the arrivals of Daylon Claasen and Steven Pienaar.

Following the purchase of Pienaar as a free agent, coach Gavin Hunt highlighted that more signings would be made, and true to his word, the Braamfontein-based outfit snapped up lanky centre-back Damjanovic in a bid to fill the void left by injured centre-back Buhle Mkhwanazi. He has sustained a knee injury, which is expected to keep him out for several months.

The Clever Boys also acquired the services of Kodisang, who made his PSL debut under Cavin Johnson at Platinum Stars at the tender age of 15 years.

Now a 19-years-old, the South Africa U20 international is expected to help his new team as they prepare for the new season, which will see them take part in the CAF Champions League, among other competitions.
