Ajax Cape Town veteran striker Nathan Paulse believes the Urban Warriors are slowly turning their form around after claiming their first victory of the season.
The Urban Warriors secured their first win of the season following their 3-2 victory over Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership last week.
However, Paulse was on the sidelines during the game with following his fracture face and was seen wearing a Carbon Fiber mask to protect his face.
The 34-year-old believes their victory over Dikwena has given his side the confidence and belief to start getting positive results in the Absa Premiership.
‘Look, it was a good win over Stars and the boys deserve all the credit for the hard work and their attitude,’ Paulse told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘It was a much-needed win as it brought some relief in the camp. The guys are now starting to believe in themselves which is good for the club.
‘The win has given the entire squad that needed boost. We still have a long way to go though, but this is a good start.’
Paulse insists that his side are looking forward to taking on the African champions when the two side’s meet on Tuesday.
‘As we prepare for the big clash against Mamelodi Sundowns, I believe the boys will be in high spirits and ensure they get another win,’ he added.
The match at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
