Ajax Cape Town have completed the signing of Roscoe Pietersen on a one-year deal with the option to renew for a further season.
The 27-year-old, who has played for the likes of Vasco Da Gama, SuperSport United, and AmaZulu has been training with the Urban Warriors for the past two weeks.
The former Chippa United defender has impress Ajax coach Roger de Sa and will now make his a return to the top-flight after spending a season–long loan at Vasco da Gama fro SuperSport.
The versatile player Pietersen says he is confident that he can make an impact and contribute to his new club ahead of the new season.
‘I’m confident I can add value to Ajax,’ Pietersen told KickOff.com.
‘We have assembled a competent squad with a good mix of experience and young players.’
