Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled their new Nike Football home kit for the 2016-17 season.
The Glamour Boys new Nike home kit with Dri-FIT technology pairs top Nike innovation with a design that honours the 15-year partnership between the club and global sports brand, and celebrates the extension of their contract.
The gold kit features a solid black stripe which runs down the sides of the jersey and shorts, with a half black stripe completing the back of the v-neck collar. The socks are gold with a distinctive black linear pattern on the calf, reports the Kaizer Chiefs website.
The new kit also ushers in a new era for Kaizer Chiefs, who have recently signed a multitude of young players, signifying their commitment to breed a new generation of football brilliance.
While the new kit serves to inspire the new generation of Chiefs, it has also been created to give players the very latest Nike innovations in fabric construction, performance technology, moisture management and environmental sustainability.
The team will wear the jersey for the first time when they take on Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup on July 30.
