Golden Arrows have confirmed the re-signing of former Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old left English Championship side Cardiff City at the end of last season and has been training with Abafana Bes’thende while he searched for a new club.
‘We are pleased that we have secured the services of KG, he has had vast experience both internationally and as a representative of Bafana Bafana,’ reports the Golden Arrows website.
‘His knowledge of and insight into the game will be priceless. He is a natural leader and a number of the younger players look up to him, and we are sure that he will mentor them.’
Dikgacoi had previously played for Abafana Bes’thende before moving to England where he had a seven-year stay playing for the likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City.
Golden Arrows will now travel to the Orlando Stadium to take on Orlando Pirates in the Telkom Knockout Cup on Sunday.
Kick-off has been set for 15:00.
