Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has confirmed the signing of former Chicken Inn midfielder Danny Phiri.

The Zimbabwean midfielder will now join the likes of Limbikani Mzava, Lehlohonolo Nonyane, and Lerato Lamola ahead of the new season.

The 45-year-old coach has confirmed the midfielder has signed for Arrows and he also announced that Andile Fikizolo returns to the club on loan from SuperSport United.

‘Phiri has signed but the right person to talk to for details is the chairlady,’ Larsen told KickOff.com.

‘We also expecting Fikizolo to rejoin us from SuperSport United this week.’

Larsen insists that Abafana Bes’thende are busy with their final preparations for the opening Absa Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates on August 24.

‘We have nine days left before we play Pirates. We are trying to put the final touches before our first game, which will be tough,’ he added.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
