Baroka FC has officially confirmed the return of Kgoloko Thobejane as their new first-team head coach following their 1-0 defeat by Chippa United this past weekend.

Thobejane will now come in to replace Thoka Matsimela after Bakgaga extended their winless run to six games after their defeat by the Chilli Boys at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Following Matsimela’s final game in charge of Baroka, he will now take charge of the club’s Diski Challenge side, while Thobejane is back with the first team, where he’ll be assisted by Vincent Kobola, goalkeeper-coach Naughty Legau and Albert Mothupa.

“Baroka Football Club would like to confirm the following changes to the technical team,” Baroka announced on their official Twitter account.

“Mr. Kgoloko Thobejane is promoted to Senior Team and will be assisted by Vincent Kobola, together with goalkeeper coach Naughty Legau and Albert Mothupa.

“Coach Matsimela Thoka will be in charge of the DDC team together with Thomas Nare, Job Maphutha and Pyhsical Trainer Tshosolosho Manamela.”
