Phumelele Bhengu’s agent Lizwe Mthethwa has confirmed that Supersport United winger will go out on loan ahead of the 2016-17 season.
The 26-year-old struggled for a starting berth in Matsatsantsa first team this past season at United, having to compete with the likes of Jeremy Brockie, Kingston Nkhatha and Bradley Grobler.
The former U20 international scored 22 goals for Thanda Royal Zulu in the National First Division goals during the 2014-15 season, before joined Matsatsantsa.
Bhengu will now leave the club on loan for more game timeyet is now set to try at United during the 2015-16 season.
‘Bhengu is leaving definitely and we know where is he going,’ Mthethwa told KickOff.com.
‘At this point in time I can’t reveal the club because we need to meet him first and explain the situation and agree the personal terms and the way forward.’
Over the course of the 2015-16 season Bhengu has only managed to rack up a total of three substitute appearances in the Absa Premiership for United.
