Mamelodi Sundown forward Khama Billiat is recovering from a groin injury after returning to the club from international duty with Zimbabwe.

The 26-year-old was not included in the Brazilians squad which defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, following the Zimbabwean’s confirmed groin injury.

Meanwhile, Sundowns has been boosted by the return of Leonardo Castro after being sidelined by an ankle injury for four months.

With the Colombian striker back, head coach Pitso Mosimane will be hoping to reunite his attacking trio of Castro, Billiat and Keagan Dolly as they look to defend their Absa Premiership title.

Mamelodi Sundowns will host Golden Arrows at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
