Siboniso Gaxa’s agent Glynn Binkin has confirmed that his client will know on Monday whether he will sign a contract with Bidvest Wits.

The former Bafana Bafana right back remains clubless and has not featured in any competitions since his release by former club Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the 2015-16 season.

Binkin confirmed that the 32-year-old recently started training with the Clever Boys and has already featured for them in the Gauteng Champion of Champions tournament.

‘We should have some finality on Monday,’ Binkin told KickOff.com.

‘There is interest from a lot of other clubs, but our priority is Wits because that’s where he is training right now.’

Over the course of his career, Gaxa netted five goals and assisted a further 17 from 286 appearances in all competitions, playing for the likes of SuperSport United, Belgium side Lierse SK and Kaizer Chiefs.
