Former Maritzburg United defender David Booysen is currently training with Ajax Cape Town in the hopes of signing a permanent deal with the club.
The 27-year-old’s agent Nicky Paiva revealed that Booysen had other clubs showing interest in him after departing from United in June.
‘David had one session with Ajax so far but it’s too soon to say anything,’ Paiva told KickOff.com.
‘Let’s wait and see how things pan out as there are other options as well.’
The defender has featured in a total of 100 matches for the Team of Choice since making a move from the Urban Warriors in 2010.
