Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mario Booysen looks set to be joining SuperSport United ahead of the upcoming season, according to reports.
The 27-year-old joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Maritzburg United in 2014, before making his season-long loan to SuperSport United in January 2016.
According to KickOff.com, an official at Sundowns revealed that Booysen will not be returning to the club, while Matsatsansta have shown interest in the defender.
‘Mario is not returning back to us,’ the official said.
‘There is an interest from SuperSport United, but nothing has been finalised yet.’
The former Ajax Cape Town defender helped Matsatsansta to an eight place finish in the Absa Premiership last term, netting one goal and making 15 appearances in the PSL.
