Cape Town City FC have unveiled their new kit, logo along with their plans for the new PSL club.
Comitis, a former shareholder at Ajax Cape Town, purchased the club franchise a few weeks ago and immediately announced plans to relocate the side to the coastal city from its previous base in Limpopo.
At a press conference held at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, Comitis confirmed the club would be rebranded as Cape Town City FC with the side adopting the colours of blue and yellow for their home kit.

The away kit, meanwhile, will be chosen subject to a vote. The options are either a black and yellow or blue and yellow, with the latter kit resembling that of Mamelodi Sundown’s home uniform. Fans can vote on social media using #ItsYourCall.

Along with their new logo, the club have also announced plans to award 50 legends lifetime memberships for a select group of legends while a number of Cape Town clubs will be receiving free season tickets for the new season.

14 of the players that did duty for Mpumalanga Black Aces have been awarded deals for CTC FC while Comitis revealed that a Dutch sports’ scientist is due to arrive in the Mother City this afternoon and will begin work on the player’s fitness ahead of the new season.
Foreign playesrs from the likes if Spain and Australia are also expected to be drafted into the squad which is expected to increase to 24 or 25 players for their maiden Premiership campaign.
