Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso says he is hoping his side can bounce back when they take on SuperSport United at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

The Glamour Boys recently fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns in their previous Absa Premiership encounter.

The 28-year-old defender will be hoping his side can find their feet

‘We’ve got to bounce back,’ Cardoso told the Kaizer Chiefs website.

Meanwhile, Matsatsantsa have former Amakhosi players in their squad, including the likes of Morgan Gould, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Kingston Nkhatha and Keagan Ritchie, along with former Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter.

The former Free State Stars defender says he is well aware that the clash against United won’t be easy but says he is confident Amakhosi can walk away with all three points.

‘It won’t be an easy game against SuperSport,’ he added.

‘However, as always, we will be looking for the three points. We owe this to our supporters, who are magnificent.’

The match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
