Orlando Pirates have announced the appointment of Bradley Carnell as the club’s new assistant coach.
The 39-year old joins the club with immediate effect having agreed on a three-year deal and will be working under new coach Muhsin Ertugral as the assistant coach, according to the Orlando Pirates website.
Carnell will now replace Teboho Moloi as the assistant coach after club chairman Irvin Khoza granted the long-serving assistant extended leave to sort out personal issues.
The former Bafana Bafana defender spent last season as the assistant coach of Free State Stars, helping them finish 12th on the Absa Premiership table.
He has previously worked with the University of Johannesburg’s Varsity Cup football team.
