Bloemfontein Celtic are leading the race to capture the services of forward Collins Mbesuma.
The veteran striker became a free agent after his contract expired at Mpumalanga Black Aces, who are currently known as Cape Town City.
Siwelele coach Serame Letsoaka has recently stated his interest in signing the former Portsmouth forward.
A well-informed source close to Mbesuma and Celtic has informed Goal.com that Phunya Sele Sele will have to meet the player’s salary demands.
‘Celtic are amongst the clubs that have maintained their interest in the player. But all that is left is to agree personal terms with him. They have to meet his demands,’ the source said.
The 32-year-old appeared a total of 29 in the Absa Premiership for Amazayoni, scoring 14 goals and clinching the PSL Golden Boot award.
