Bloemfontein Celtic and Polokwane City were forced to share the spoils at the Dr Molemela Stadium following their goalless draw in the Absa Premiership on Sunday.
Celtic got off to a better start and had the first opportunity of the match in the fifth minute when Atusaye Nyondo was left one-on-one with George Chigova but he could not find the back of the net.
Polokwane should have taken the lead in the 26th minute as Celtic conceded a penalty and Thobani Mncwango stepped up to take the spot-kick but failed to convert to keep the score level at 0-0.
On the stroke of half-time Celtic thought they had broken the deadlock when Deon Hotto found the back of the net but he was ruled to be offside.
Ramagalela had a great chance to put his side ahead but his effort was well saved by Ayanda Mtshali on the hour-mark,
In the 62nd minute, Puleng Tlolane dribbled past two players and cut inside to curl his shot at goal but Mtshali was on hand to make the save once again.
Celtic had a number of chances in the closing stages with Hotto failing to hit the target from point-blank range in the 83rd minute.
However, the score remained goalless until the final whistle, as Bloem Celtic continue their struggles in the Absa Premiership.
