Chippa United have unveiled Canterbury as the club’s new technical sponsor in time for the beginning of the 2016-17 season.

Canterbury broke into the soccer scene last season apparel as a sponsor to Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The Chilli Boys executive chairman Siviwe Mpengesi is delighted to have agreed to partner with Canterbury ahead of the 2016-17 season.

‘This is a fantastic deal for the Club and it gives me great pleasure to welcome Canterbury as our new Technical Sponsor. I am confident that Canterbury will enjoy the partnership with Chippa United, a team regarded by many as the fastest growing football brand in the country,’ Mpengesi told the Chippa United website.

‘We are extremely proud to have our brand linked to Canterbury, and are delighted that this agreement will extend to our development teams as of the 2017-18 season,’ he added.
